Emotional Eating
From a very early age, our mothers unwittingly teach us that eating is comforting. When a baby cries, it's a natural instinct to try to feed it first, and so we learn that when we are upset, it's ok to eat. But as babies unable to communicate and dependent to others for our care, that's ok. As adults who are fully in control of our own lives and able to communicate, it should be easier for us to take a different path. However, we do what we know, and what we were taught from birth. This session is designed to help those people who eat for emotional reasons, be they sadness, loneliness or any other emotional issue.
